Big changes on the horizon...

Well, for those of you who do not know yet, Christine and I have decided to move to Haifa, Israel in order to work at the Baha'i World Center -- the spiritual and administrative center of the Baha'i Faith. We've been thinking about making a change in our lives for quite a while now and when we heard about the opportunity to combine our strong belief in the Baha'i Faith with our jobs -- it seemed like an opportunity too good to pass up.

In any event we'll be leaving the States in mid-September and will be in Israel for 2 1/2 years. After that, we'll wait and see!

Since this is the beginning of a very new adventure for us, we decided to start a blog so that as we are moving and settling into our new lives we can share exciting news and photos as things unfold.

Above all we look forward to the adventure and sharing it with all of you!!

But first things first....

The first thing we need to do is sell our house. If you know anyone who is looking for a great home in an awesome neighborhood, let us know. Here is a photo of it:

Here are some features:
5 Bedrooms/3 full baths.
Partial Apartment in the basement (great for additional income).
Woodstove
Hardwood floors
Finished heated basement
2 car heated garage
In-ground swimming pool
INCREDIBLE GARDENS -- as you can only start to see in the photo above! (Click Here to see an incredible garden tour slideshow)

Here are some great selling points:
Secluded neighborhood within 10 min walk to downtown New Paltz and SUNY.
Walking Distance from Bus station with express service to Port Authority (1 1/2 hours).
2 min drive from NY Thruway.
20 drive to Poughkeepsie Train Station with express service to Grand Central.
Minutes from the Shawangunk Mountains with great hiking trails and rock-climbing.
2 min walk to a very large orchard with incredible views of the mountains.

Let us know if you (or someone you know) might want to buy the house. Our phone number is 845-255-0949. We'll be putting it on the market within the next week so please let us know right away if you are interested!
