Saturday Afternoon

We've been having a pretty nice day today. It's now 4pm on Saturday and we returned a little while ago from having lattes and fresh scones (that Christine made) at a friends flat that overlooks Mount Carmel. This is the view from their apartment:

These are the administrative buildings of the Baha'i World Centre. It is truly an amazing sight from this angle!

We also had a nice talk with Shana and Jordan this morning. They are both happy and feeling great being in Costa Rica together. Jordan is working on editing videos for companies there and Shana has been doing other service projects in Costa Rica and Panama--along with hanging out with Jordan and learning some more spanish. We are very excited to see them in just 2 1/2 weeks!

We plan on spending the rest of the day working around the house a bit -- or reading and preparing for our trip back to the States and Costa Rica.

Nature is amazing

Looking through some older photos this afternoon, we realized that we never posted this one. If you look closely, you'll see that it is a gecko that was hanging out on a wall outside of Brian's office one night in June. This is about as good a job at camouflaging as you can get!!

Just want to let everyone know that we are both still fine. We are looking forward to our vacation in just over 2 weeks and have a lot to do to get ready!!

Still working

It's been another couple of days since our last post. Quietest days that we have had in the past two weeks. In the meantime we have continued to do our jobs and Brian has been working on a redesign for one of the Baha'i Web sites: The Baha'i World News Service. The site redesign was just made live today. If you want to check it out just Click Here.

Also, as part of the redesign they have released a flash-based image search pod that we have put on the right panel of this blog. It lets you search images from the Baha'i Media Bank -- a collection of 2,500+ photos.
