Ceasefire starts

It's now 8:05am local time (1:05am est) and the ceasefire has officially begun. It remains to be seen what will happen but we're hopeful that things will work out.

It's Sunday night

It's now Sunday night at 8pm (1pm est) -- and as you may have heard it's been a busy day here in Haifa. Although we are hopeful that a ceasefire will come about tomorrow morning, Christine and I are staying in a protected area until we are sure its safe to go home.
