Turtle Video and other photos

Although it's been a month and a half since we were in Costa Rica, we're still trying to find time to go through all of our video and photos. We're also experimenting with video for our blog. Anyway, this short video shows a baby turtle in Costa Rica going into the ocean for the first time! (If you can't see the video download flash.)

This crocodile was in a river right near our hotel room. We are happy to say that he was content to just eat the food the restaurant owner fed him ; )


This is a howler monkey. We'll try to upload a video of the sound they make but its pretty wild. He was sitting on the roof of the restaurant near our room.


This is the first sloth we saw--I think its the 2-toed sloth. We have video of this one too.


This is the second sloth we saw-- the 3-toed (although we might have them reversed). in both cases we saw them pretty well and they were moving faster than we though sloths do.
